Air Passenger Bill of Rights (PH)

MANILA, Philippines - The Air Passenger Bill of Rights is out and will take effect December 21, 2012. As an airline passenger, these are the key things you need to know:

1. Offloaded baggage
If your checked-in baggage were offloaded from the flight you're in due to "operational, safety, or security reasons," the airline has to inform you ASAP, give you a report, and ensure that your offloaded baggage is carried in the next flight with available space.

The airline should deliver the baggage to you within an hour from the time the flight carrying your baggage arrives at your destination. The airline must pay you P2,000 for every 24 hours that your baggage is delayed. A fraction of a day shall be considered as one day.

2. Overbooked flights
An airline is allowed to overbook a flight -- an industry practice of selling more than the seats the aircraft has, based on demand-supply for a specific flight -- as long as the passengers who are bumped off do so voluntarily.

Zuleika's 4th Bday at Jollibee

Zuleika Lou's 4th birthday party - at Jollibee Centerpoint Matina with her PISD classmates (Level One - Nemo AM), family and friends happened last October 25, 2012.

Zu's Field Trip at PAF with MJ

Zuleika Lou with the Level One learners of PISD had their field trip mid of the month of November 2012. One of the places they visited is the Philippine Air Force. With Zu is MJ, mommy Judie and Tita Mariemar.

One Afternoon with Zu in her bike

During her early "toddler-hood",  Zu finds it hard to pedal in her pink bike because she can't hold on to the rhythm of pushing the pedal left and right. Aside from curiosity (after always seeing her Ate Clang's mastery), I saw in her the quality of spirit that enables her to face the challenge to learn.

It was one afternoon last November 10, 2012 when Zu ask me to watch her over that I realized that she has gone a lot of "mastery".

I took time to document that moment in a 1-minute video.

A Jolly birthday for Zuleika Lou

The 4th birthday of Zuleika Lou last October 25, 2012 appeared in the local newspaper Mindanao Daily Mirror on its October 29, 2012 issue. It was surprising and was never expected that it occupied the whole page of the People Event and Product section.

Thanks to Maam Anne Stone and her nephew Ramer (classmate of Zuleika) for this gift. Aside from the coverage, an 8R frame containing the same in full color was also presented to Zuleika.

Jollibee and Hetty in the dance floor

Zuleika's 4th birthday was full of fun with Jollibee and Hetty performing in the dance floor. The kids, including their parents and gurdians enjoyed the dance number.

PISD's 13th Anniversary - A performance day for Lou and Lois

It was a great day during the 13th Foundation Day of Precious International School of Davao last tember 14, 2012. Both Zuleika and Clarissa did a very good job together with their teammates during their respective dance and field demonstration.

The program started with an opening prayer led by Clarissa Lois.

After the prayer was a series of presentations. Zuleika and the Level One did a very cute dance presentation.

Lois and the Grade Three also did an amazing field demonstration themed like ninja turtles.

Zuleika and Clarissa joins Flores De Mayo 2012

Zuleika and Clarissa spent their summer school vacation joining Flores De Mayo the whole month of May 2012. This was held in San Roque chapel of NHA Bangkal Phase 1 near our residence.

Both of them find it hard to wake up early especially during the first few days. Most of the time they were late. Aside from the learning they got, they also made new friends.

The pictures here are taken during their Culmination Day last May 25.
